It's hard to tell what modifications have been made until I read the thing, but the one thing I did look for was a ruling on Fibre Optics in Production Division.
There seems to be no change to the wording from previous editions, ergo Fibre Optics are still not permitted. A shame, as I had been under the impression that they were going to be permitted, which would have given Production Division an even bigger boost. Hopefully, IPSC will amend its definition of "same type and kind" to include Fibre Optics in the "post/notch" type of sight.
Ick, here it is, 2 days after the new edition has been released, and I'm already hoping for published rules interpretations.
Oh...and there are no tolerances for steel targets included in this new edition either...
