IPSC Shotgun World Shoot 3 - France June 2018

Qualification:
- Have a pulse
- shotgun
- IPSC membership
- ability to get to France for the match

Shotgun isn't participated enough in Canada for members to be competing for match spots.
We're being given 38 spots in the match.

Apparently match fee payment is due January 4.
If anyone is considering going to the world shoot, send an email to either your section coordinator or the regional director to get on their radar.

Edit: Corey beat me to it.

Like they said....I need your name and email address - send it via email, copy your S/C - he has to confirm your membership status.
I'll need to collect match fees from people next week, so EMT will probably be best (I'll email you details) but we can also do courier.

France is an awesome country for shooting. Importing the gun is crazy easy. The Handgun World Shoot facilities (same facilities for this match) was amazing!
The town of Chateaureaux is not a tourist area, it's VERY French - but the people go out of their way to communicate with us one-language Anglos.
They were so very friendly and accommodating when we were there for the Handgun WS.

Food? Wow! - but hey - it's France - it has to be.

The French aren't big on Air Conditioning or Ice Cubes so keep that in mind when making your plans.

Expect very expensive expenses, though.
Your Visa Gold Card or Home Insurance Rider doesn't cover the rental car there (you'll need one) so the car will be extra expensive and the rooms won't be cheap either.
Food will be expensive, so will gas. etc.
It's not a cheap trip.

Seriously contemplating......
Final call went out today. We were not given a lot of time to pay for the slots, so if you want to go, you have to get hold of me now as I have to wire France the funds on Friday.
I've emailed everyone I know wanted to go with the details. If you didn't get an email from me today; I'm not aware of you wanting to go - so please email me ASAP.

Learn to load the Shotgun as fast and reliably as you can, and choose a choke thats gotta good spread!

You aren't allowed to participate in this thread any more.
Its reserved for people actually interested in IPSC shotgun, no posers....

We were planning on going but were counting on Sept. again & planned accordingly. The June date kinda goofed things up for us . I was building an open gun & it was going ok till my home club really made it extremely difficult to practice due to there new range rules. So we have been looking at Viking match in Norway in Sept. & am going to try and make the next shotgun worlds after this one.
