IPSC targets

Just wondering why IPSC Canada has moved away from the CB (humanoid) style of targets in favor of the "classic" target? Is there an actual reason or is it a case of we have to be different than the States?

There are only a few Regions (out of about 70) where you still see Metric Targets.

But why the change? I am looking for a reason besides to be politically correct, because surely that can't be the only reason... can it?

That was probably the primary driver...

Internationally, IPSC is on a mission to be officially recognised as a "sport" and this is part and parcel to achieving that goal...
 
in new zealand we only use them as its It's politically correct for matches
but lots of us still have the other ones for fun days ect
 
Now I'm going to have to stop my chemical training regiment and actually practice. Any body want to buy a shjt load of horse steroids?
Lets see them get a urine sample from someone at PASA park in the middle of July.

No offence meant but judging from the way I've seen you look I thought you were on them already. Well at least from the negative side effects angle..... :evil:
