IPSC The Movie?

I don't think anyone thought it was a real match, just that it was few guys making their own promotional video of some sort...whatever

If you guys are downloading this, I warn you that only the first 10 minutes is to do with IPSC, then a cool fantasized shootout with the open gun in the closing 5 minutes.

Also get "Double Tap" from quite a few years back. I think it was 1997? This one had better "IPSC" in it.

Hate it all you want, but these movies really kicked up Hong Kong's Airsoft IPSC participation.

hahaha. i paused it at exactly 0:29 and the gun is pointed directly at the RO's crotch. But i think he let the unsafe gun handling slide because of his sweet michael jackson style one glove.

That stage is awesome!!!

I liked the sparking bullets not penetrating the aluminum poppers, but I have to get one of those super cool gloves, my current method of holding the grip gives me way too much feeling of control.

The mental image of you moon walking your way through the stage, well, that would be epic!

I just watched the whole movie yesterday.

I would point out that the trial scene is good. The prosecutor was trying to make the defendant (and his chosen sport) into an aggressive, evil monster. "why not choose golf instead" he asks at one point. The defendant argues that a golf club could kill just as easily if used in that manner intentionally. I thought they did a good job of pointing out how the bad guys weren't following the laws and they had guns, but he was trying to stop a robbery.

Now, don't jump in and wreck the whole plot line for those who haven't seen it... I'm just saying that the trial part was done quite well.

If you're not into HK action movies (think John Woo) with subtitles, then you probably won't care for this one either. Other than the (major) slip ups in the stage scene (I counted 3 times where Ken should have been DQd for finger on the trigger alone) the movie was actually pretty good. Take that FWIW because I really enjoy HK action movies and have seen many. Still lots out there that I haven't yet, but glad I watched this one.
