IPSC World Shoot

What was Mike DQ'd for?

I was told a shot over the berm.

I did hear a comment that some RO's are being referred to as 'stupidly aggressive' but a number of competitors were just brain dead. I guess that's an even balance.

I'm just happy to have rubbed shoulders with a few of our guys down there. Win lose or draw I'm alway proud to see the Maple Leaf on the world stage. Congrats to all the Canucks!! They are all superstars in my book.

Their choice. The stages appear to favor minor, and they both listened to a couple Classic shooters who shot the pre-match with major and recommended minor. I advised that Rob stay with major (because I thought the pre-match guys were suffering from "the grass is always green on the other side" syndrome) but he didn't listen to me and decided to go minor. His comment to me today was that he should have listened to me: but the match isn't over yet, so I'll check with him again when it's all said and done.

Appears minor may have won out.

Top Canadians at the match:

Open: Alex S. - 77th / 81%
Standard: Mike B. - 27th / 84%
Classic: Ivan R. - 29th / 78%
Production: Eugene K. - 144th / 66% (no idea how this guy is a top Canadian with his 6 misses!)
Revolver: ...ohh, never mind

Production Lady: Glenda J - 250th / 56% (18th Lady)
Standard Lady: Sarah L - 205th / 61% (10th Lady)

Thanks Curm and euxx.

Any word on the future of Classic division?

Pretty amazing how Max and Nils squeak out wins again and again.

And TGO, he's been winning world titles since '83 and has won in at least 3 Divisions. Looking forward to shooting Area 2, Rio Salado now has Two current World Champions as members.

Considering he is the Ontario Open and overall champ I'd give him a little more respect than that. :D. I bet he does well.

Ontario match wasn't exactly big. But even then, he lost it all when he haven't used his chance to shoot at the WS. Now bragging about shooting some other match with people who was at the WS now look really silly... Yet, my statement still stands and you two are more than welcome to prove me wrong.

Hello,

I have a friend competing for Canada at the IPSC Worlds and I'd like to see how he did (and Canada as well). I went to the IPSC World web site but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Would anyone point me to where I can find results and maybe pics and video of the event?

Thanks
