I have a 10/22 receiver that will be furnished with a 12.5" bull barrel. The receiver is a flat top and I'm wanting to use it for iron sights only. Does anyone know how I could get iron sights on a bull barrel, or a bull barrel with iron sights already fitted?

Do a search for Tech Aperture sights , they are a excellent aperture sight, and they have a modification to put a front sight on a bul” barrel , though that is a short sight radius with only 12.5 inches , My 10-22 has a full” length barrel and the tech sights are great

You can have a dovetail cut in the barrel. Nodak makes a clamp on front sight.

The Nodak option is awesome. I have the receiver rail with the built in rear sight and the set screw front sight. They undersize it so you bore it with a hone to fit your barrel perfectly. A small hone fits in a drill and costs $15-20 at CanTire. They also ship to Canada.

Thanks for the quick replies. The reason for the short barrel and not optic is because I bought a wooden stock from Poland made from walnut. would not suit a optic
