Bubba would be proud - I just installed an old surplus steel Remington BDL ramp/bead on my short barreled 358" Ruger Frontier workhorse.
With the NECG rear peep it seems a pretty good arrangement - especially as a hunt back up sighting system. Original Ruger front ramps are hard to source and too spendy - also hard to fit too with larger Frontier muzzle and their barrel band design. However it still goes against the grain for me to make a Frankengun. This is second best but will serve well enough I think.
