IRUNGUNS questions and answers

Dear I Run Guns

I just writing for some information ...

On their website it says that starting from June 6th 2022 you will be no longer exporting handguns from your American Irunguns.com website to Canada….

However Do you still allow and do the importing of handguns from other American third party FFL firearm dealers from the united States to Canada for Canadian residents through your importing service?

Thank you so much for your help and time.

Did you not believe me when I told you yesterday on another thread you posted on asking the same question? The answer is yes, they posted so. Click on their username and scroll through their posts. You will find your answer there.

@Irunguns
I’d like to purchase a few handguns from an U.S. FFL dealer and have you take delivery and import.
However, I am unable to reach you and have a few questions..
what is the best/quickest current method to contact you?

Parliament is now out until September 19, 2022. Perhaps the "tap" can be opened again for a few more import cycles. Seems there is time now. Fingers crossed!

Heck, what if they bump it up to a 50% restocking fee on prohib cancellations but at least open the gate to people who just want their last chance... its a win win

Even one more import cycle would be great! Order by July 15, guns in Canada August 15! Transfers initiated immediately upon purchase should clear before parliament resumes in the middle of September! Even in Ontario!

Even now doesn't IRG have to sort out illegal AR-15s and AKs.
Why do short-barrel guns pose such an insurmountable obstacle?
Not trying to tell IRG how to run their business -- but opportunity knocks.

Irun lurks on here everyday (click their username) and have not answered any of the numerous questions/concerns across their own thread posts for over a week. They don't give a shi* about you. They have showed their hands. They will be back with all sorts of "[insert gun name here] now in Canada" threads any day now. They have ignored their loyal customers and blocked access to guns at the time Canadians needed them most.

Many other retailers, who do not have an American branch that they could easily ship back to had the hammer fell, have ordered more guns and took a risk to benefit us all. Those are the retailers that were answering your questions and selling you guns while Irun ignored you and is waiting for the smoke to clear to jump back in the game. I know who I will be purchasing from, and I hope you all come to the same conclusion.

EDIT:
Credit where credit is due. I sh*t on these guys for freezing everyone out for the last month, but I have to admit, they are definately making up for it. Many Canadians will now get their chance to own a quality pistol, you have done good IRUN, keep up the good work.

Another clueless poster who clearly hasn’t read before running their big mouth!! The problem isn’t that Irunguns does not want to sell us guns, it’s that clueless idiots purchased thousands of prohibited handguns off their website which caused hundreds of human work hours to fix, costing them likely tens of thousands of dollars in losses. After they have a fix for that problem, I’m sure they’ll join the other retailers with continued sales.

Hello, does IRG import firearm accessories (magazines, firing pin, take down pin, etc) from Czech if the supplier will ship to Canada? With magazine, do you provide pinning service (17-round to 10-round)? Thank you!

Fix is easy ...
1. refund with 10%-15%-20%-25%-...-100% restocking fee ... pick your number to compensate ....
2. treat like nonrefundable deposit ...
if someone would demand a chargeback from CC - direct them to Canadian government for compensation ...

Why would you need IRG for importing if Czech Republic allows export of these?
They are a necessary intermediate because of ITAR export restrictions from the US ...
CBS would be stopping prohibited devices ... pinning should be done at source, I would guess ...

Anyone else still unable to finish creating an account on the Canadian site? Got the confirmation page it was created but never got the follow up email. Forgot password says invalid email, trying to create a new account again says email already in use. No response via email in almost 4 weeks.
