I never handled one before, but I'm thinking of a Ziess 4.5-14x44 MC Conquest. It's just under 14 inches... I just don't want to get something thats too big for the rifle, that's all.
Is 14" too long a scope for a black special?

Zeiss quick release rings (made by Warne) and Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x 50mm will be going on mine. Eventually

I've seen the set up you're looking at on a target model. I thought it looked very good. More importantly I suspect it works really well

Right now I'm still waiting for the rings to come in, and I need to put in some more overtime for the scope.
The one I saw with the scope you have in mind, was at the gun store. I thought it looked good. It's a fairly long rifle. You don't really need to worry too much about it. You have Swiss Arms logos with A SIG one near the stock, a couple Zeiss logos and you're gold. You might as well be showing up with a race car It'll look good and more importantly it'll work well.

It all depends what you like to see one your gun and what you want it to use for ... I had 14" scope on my green special but I like 12.6" more on my gun . Here is a pic of my Green special with European 30 .. 3-9X40 ... I just put this to take a picture and see how it looks ... It might help you about the look ... but actually I will be putting Leupold VX-III 4.5-14X40 LR with vermint hunter rectile which is same size as the one in the picture .... have a look ...I will be adding a link to Leupod scope at the bottom of picture if you want to compare the size of your scope ..
