Not all P-08's are prohib. The Swiss Luger has a 4.8" barrel, also the Marine P-04 has a 6" barrel, the Artillery LP-08 has a 8" barrel. You can also find regular P-08's with long aftermarket barrels. They can be expensive tho. Best bet is to get a friend who is grandfathered to get a normal one cheap and pick up a barrel or top end when you can and then have it reclassified.

The deal with that, is I'd want a luger as close to what the officers carried.

So I guess the Swiss luger would be that. But those aren't made in high number. Not cheap.

The marine Luger would maybe be alright as well, but the price would be expensive once more.

The Artillery Luger is a joke though. I'm not touching that clown gun.

Nice collection bro! I don't know about the 1911. I don't know much about them, but I probably would have gone with a different finish.
