Is .22 short still available in Canada?

I don't have any trouble finding them. The CCI .22 CB's are very quiet in a rifle for pests or very small game during the big game season. You can shoot them in most single shot and tube magazine rifles, like the old Cooeys.
Now the .22 Long is probably close to extinction.

can you shoot them in a 10/22 and just manually cycle the bolt?

will they run ok in a factory ruger mag?

thanks

I see it all the time in Canadian Tire. It is new manufacture CCI stuff.
Same here.

Just the magazine:

Now, to me, you should be able just to use the short magazine in a normal 10/22. You'll have to cycle the bolt manually, but the magazine should feed fine. Someone on here has the kit, or atleast the magazine, hopefully they'll chime in.

No trouble finding .22 Shorts and .22 Long Rifles. Its the .22 Longs that are the hard ones to find. Not sure that any company manufactures .22 Longs any more.
