water witch: I have been using a .32 Winchester Special 94 carbine for hunting whitetails the past few years. I've managed to find some nice old Dominion and other old ammo for it. This year, I might use a Savage 1899 .303 Savage, if I can get out to test it out. I like to be able to shoot "minute-of-fairly-large-rock" at a hundred yards or so. Ammo for that one is tough to come by, but I have done some preliminary warning shots with "plan B" ammo.
