* carry-handle ground off and a rail and Burris scope mounted (gunsmith)

* front sight-post ground off (gunsmith)

* current-issue round-style front handguard (i.e., NOT original triangular)

* Harris folding bipod

* 2 Colt mags (1x30, 1x15)

This rifle's mine if I want it but I have to make a decision quickly and don't have time to research much so I'm throwin' it to you guys.

If you place a wanted ad in your local free buy & sell classified papers,websites and community tack/cork bulletin boards you can find Colt AR-15 SP1s for under $800 in excellent condition with no mods.You can also read last week's issue of the free buy & sell classifie papers for free at:

Some people who are getting older and want to get rid of them quickly instead of turning them in to police to be destroyed will sell them for $300 or less as they only paid $300 or so back in 1980.
