is $930 too much for a Citori,20g. fixed mod/ic chokes.

i think so,i looked at it yesterday at a local shop.i thought it was priced a bit high.

thanks SC.
Do you know if there is enough meat on these barrels to install tubes?i should've brought my calipers with me and took a measurement.

Instead of buying it and getting tubes installed, you'd be better to find one w/factory tubes.

IC/M is a great setup as is for upland and the bbls will be lighter as the walls would be thinner w/o the factory tubes.

Gatehouse has a nice Browning 20ga O/U w/tubes. It's a bit more than the one your looking at, but factor in the tube installation and you're right there

Those are nice guns. Yes, the fixed choke barrels tend to be thinner, but tubes can still be installed. But if it's to be an upland gun, you're fine as is. You may even consider opening up that Mod barrel closer to IC as well, depending on if you're after ruffies rather than pheasants/sharptails.
