Is a 1911 practical in 9mm?

I just bought 3 of the Norc 1911 in 9mm. All are 100% feed, fire, extract eject with my round nose cast bullet reloads. Recoil is soft. Should make a good CQB gun.

None of them yet give good accuracy, unlike my other Norcs, including clones of SIG, CZ and 1911-45ACP.

I am now fiddling and tweaking. Quite acceptable on a $350 gun.
