Is a Lockable Range Bag Legal?!?!

Until they tell us what is not fine, I will assume that anything that is lockable and stronger then a paper bag is good to go.

I had this same question last year and I ask the BC CFO and was told that a nylon bag is fine as long as it's lockable.

They'll never put that in writing, though. I've had the CFO tell me lots of things and other people have heard different.

That said, I use nylon bags too with zippers. They're lighter and more comfortable to carry.

Someone showed me how easy it is to open a zipper with a pen but since it's a tool it doesn't keep me up at night.

To play it safe, I bought three of those fireproof, lockable, portable safes.
The kind you store your valuables and important documents at home in.(in the stationary dept.)
Guns in one, ammo in another, and clips in the third.
Granted, it does take me two or three trips to the car, or clubhouse, but ain't nobody gonna charge me with nothin'!
And they were 40% off at Walmart. That's 40% X 3= 120%. Almost like one for free, no cost to me.
My shooting costs are way down, too. Cause, inevitably I leave at least one key for the boxes, or my trigger locks, at home.
Forgot my keys enough times, in the first 6 months of using this system, that my ammo savings have covered the cost of the other two.
