I just purchased an RCBS Rockchuker kit after many years of using a junior press I purchased many years ago. I have been told that the RCBS dies are now made off shore and that the Redding dies are better quality.
Is this true? Also:
I am curious to know if the Precision Micrometers that both companies make are compatible. What I mean is can I use a Redding precision mic in an RCBS die and vice-versa, can I use an RCBS Precision Mic in a Redding die?
I have a 30.06 Remington left hand BDL that I use for my big game and I have a Remington left hand bolt 22-250 Varmint synthetic fluted that I use on varmints.
Any help or comments would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
