is a stevens 320 pump worth 190 bucks?

I talked with a local store this summer when they first showed up on Savage's website. He told me he had a look at them but decided not to bring them in, they didnt seem well made to him. He sells the 350 and Norinco so that tells me something. From what I understand they are a knock-off Winchester action with whats trying miserably to be Benelli furniture. Grab one, test it and let us know your thoughts. They could end up being the next best thing in cheap 12 gauge pumps. They are now less expensive than a Maverick so its worth a shot.

I bought the Stevens 350 "security" model for $229.... and I am very happy with it.
I chose the ghost ring sights over bead or rifle sights.

I spent about 10 minutes checking one out at the local gun store. The price is spot on but the trigger was the biggest issue, it's extremely stiff. The gun is well built, but I recall the bluing looked weak, as though it could have spent longer in the tank. It felt heavy but I don't know if it was heavier than other guns.

I have an 870 express and it functions flawlessly and is a better shotgun (with my limited experience only shooting one and holding the other), but it's a rust magnet. I completely soak it in oil and it still rusts, I have never seen a piece of metal rust so hard. The norincos are more resilient than these 870e's. I'm considering another shotgun myself, so I may go with Marine Magnum and just sell my 870 receiver and keep the tubes. I'll probably get an HP-9

I handled one on a wal mart stateside and being the proud owner of a 350 I was disappointed to not find the same grippy furniture I was used to, but more plain nylon feeling stuff. It's so darn cheap it's disposable, buy one and make it go boom. If it doesn't tickle you you can always buy another shotgun. They're not like women, they won't fight and/or kill you if you start fondling another.
