I read on here that some say modding a rifle is like putting on jewelry. I have a mosin Nagant m91/30 that I put a timmney trigger and cork on the barrel with little metal plates suppose to make it more accurate. Along with a scope on the rear sight. While I was a.removing the old rear sight the front sight fell off and I installed a tanker style muzzle brake and a rubber thing on the butt of the stock. Now are my mods jewelry?

I did my own trigger job but all of it together made a much more accurate Mosin. Even with run in the mill Milsurp ammo.

What kind of scope is that? I have a cheap aim scope I think it's about $20
What are the baffles for? They would irritate the heck out of me!
With signs saying "Don't post targets here" on those baffles, ten feet away, it is pretty hard not to laugh!
Its an AIM 3-7X32 that came in a Mosin upgrade kit with the rubber but pad, a crookedly machined rear sight picatinny rail and I think a sling. The whole kit was $80 so it wouldn't surprise me to see the scope for $20-$40. I bought the mount in the picture from Amazon for $23.
I bought the same kit and a similar scope mount from Amazon. My mount has 3 bolts on the side to tighten it down. Is your scope mount mounted on the dove tail that is under the old rear sight? I like budget builds that get same results as the expensive ones.
