When I order a pistol that's listed as being in-stock, I expect shipment to follow the transfer notification. Certainly, no one should expect a retailer to ship a firearm before the retailer has received their transfer notification, but - consistent with my experience - I expect the retailer to receive the transfer notification in the same time frame as did the buyer.

What I don't expect is to receive a transfer notification, followed a registration certificate, followed by another two weeks of a "Status: Waiting for CFC" message. :bangHead:

So...I've got to ask...CanadaAmmo, is anyone home?

I will check tomorrow. Dan was off hunting last week, he does the restricteds, so it will likely go in the next day or so. It also may be that we have not received our copy of the transfer

What is your order number?

You could just call instead of trying to throw them under the bus. CanAm has been really good in the years ive dealt with them. Sometimes I have to call a few times to get through but I always do.

Ive been told by more than one dealer that their CFO does not necessarily send out the notices within the same time frame as the buyer. And dealers dont always have staff just sitting around to chase after the cfo

For future record please note that certain CFOs refuse to e-mail us confirmations and some never send them at all. If you have received your buyer's notification and we have not shipped your firearm it is likely that we have not received our copy. Please forward your copy to info@canadaammo.com
