Is anyone running a red dot on a lever action, specifically a top eject ?

Turnbull Restorations. He sell two versions, receiver mount or the nice flush rear dovetail for either rmr or shield footprint red dots. Nice quality $85 USD

Thanks John, I did notice they made a dovetail mount when I was checking out the receiver option but I wasn't sure that's what you had.
It looks very sleek and handy!

I also have the dove tail mount on a 94 in .45 Colt its very low and sleek with a Vortex venom mounted. I got it when they still shipped to Canada

My brother has the turnbull with Burris setup on his Model 94. It really works well for him. His eyesight has weakened due to age and that setup changed his hunting experience. I'm not sure how its installed but it really works for him.

oh man, just had a little fun with my holosun 507c grendel bolt action with gongs out to 400, I have it zero'd at 200 and decal showing 25 yard holds to 400, we did speed drills at 50/100 and then 200 freehand with surprising hit ratio, then turned the brightness down to minimize dot and went prone on the 300/400 gongs and that was a hoot, you have to work hard to miss at 300, had right to left wind, did my last 6 in two quick groups at 300/400, at 300 did a fist size group just left side of dead middle of gong holding bottom of dot on top of gong (wind right to left), then at 400 it's a 30" holdover and only 10" gong, went 2 for 3 on it quick catching left side and missed number 3 left side (me or wind), would be a lot easier to reference on an animal...that was a blast, just about ready for my first Palma match lol, confidence will be high going into the season, may not need the scoped rifle at all, highly recommend this dot stuff, my bud with a 308 he's setting up for his no magnification iron sights rig now wants the dot over the irons, and not any dot as he's run cheaper stuff, he wants the holosun and green, was surprised by it(quality, no battery required solar, and size of dot) and the color against a full green and lush backdrop, but it's also his preferred archery fiber optic color as well

Dr Pearson's No-Drill Rails are well built for sure.

That's a great idea and makes sense for a gun that's already drilled for the classic rear peep sights. Using a modern micro pistol reflex sight keeps it nice and compact and low!

I’ve got one on route thanks to this thread.
