Is anyone shooting a type 97 left handed?

Have been thinking of getting one. But watched a couple of utube video and it looks like the shell are just about bouncing off his forehead? Anybody shooting a type 97, left handed?

Dont do it!! I posted a pic in another thread, the casing split my lip open really bad. This was on gas setting one

Unfortunately, Are Type 97 design is similar to the pre 2010 Type 95s. With the 2010 and newer type 95s. They added a bolt release and moved the safety up beside the grip. They also made it so shells would eject to the right and forward to accommodate left handed shooters. Are mag release on the Type 97 suck simply because its AR magazines and the mag release must be right where it is. The original Type 95 has the mag release in that indent at the rear of the rifle and that worked because the Type 95 used AK style rock in magazines.
