Is anyone working on importing the SR9C?

Just curious if anyone will be importing the newly announced Ruger SR9compact?

The full size SR9 already comes with a Canadian legal 106mm barrel, so it would only be a matter of someone getting their hands on some excess SR9 barrels and the SR9C itself.

Could be different barrel dimension. Similar to the scenario where a glock 17 barrel will not work in a glock 19. Having said that Ruger has told Canam they will build a special run of 106mm LCP's so I don't see why they won't do a run of 106mm SR9C's

I didn't know a 17 barrel won't work in a 19.

I think the size of SR-9 is about perfect for me, not quite sure how the stick out barrel of the C model will looks like, but it is cool to have more choice.
