Is Blaser R8 safer in the event of case failure?

The only thing negative is the price. Some Blaser dealers sell the mounting system (rings and base)at almost $600. The Blaser rifles are superb unique pieces of fine firearms.

The new cheap version of r8 is professional s, which is a bit over $3000. The mount can be had at less than $500. I am going to use 2 or 3 different scope for one barrel, shooting eld-x, ceb, etc. Will be fun. Owlowl sent me the photos of r8 pressure test, which boosts my confidence in r8
The most expensive rifle that I ever owned is $450 husqy 9.3x62 with a dovetail. It costed me multiple bears before I spent money to re-drill the holes. I hate dovetails, I also dislike the fact that the mount screws in the receiver can get loose. None of these will happen with r8
