Hey guys, I have a Globco Mohawk 555 (bastardizes svt 39-40 with British bore and sites, montycarlo stock). Now finding parts to is next to impossible(just incase something breaks) I would love to get a scope and mount, plus a 10 to 15 shot bananna clip. On the other hand is it better to get a bran new rifel with all the bells and whistles already attached??

Hi. Buy another rifle. Globco Mohawk 555's are notorious for having been assembled with extremely poor QC. They were modified when 7.62 x 54R ammo wasn't available. Most have bad headspace. Have that checked before you spend any money. Personally, I wouldn't spend a nickle on one. However, most SVT-40 parts will work. SVT-40 scope mounts are rare.
"...a 10 to 15 shot bananna clip..." You can't have either unless pinned to 5 rounds, even if there was such a thing. The only centre fire rifles that are expempt from the silly mag capacity law are the Lee-Enfield and the M1 Rifle(Garand). This should have been covered on your PAL course.
