Ok, enough is enough. I am at a breaking point regarding this braking issue. To brake or not to break, that is the question.

Well, as a firearms community and if you wish to discuss this logically and strictly pertaining to firearms, the answer, in my opinion, is very simple.

A BRAKE is that thing-of-a-jig that goes at the end of the barrel.
A BREAK is a type of action as in break-action, bolt action, lever action… etc.

Now stop breaking my balls regarding the breaking news about brakes and breaks.

grouseman, I hate to tell you this, but if you go looking in Brownell's or any other gun supply catalogue you will not find any muzzle breaks, thus rendering you unable to put one of those thingy's on your rifle.However........well, you get the idea.
