Is it impossible to find 20 round "Vietnam" style AR Mags?

I haven't owned an AR compatible rifle for very long and I was wondering.

I never see them for sale and I'd love to have a few. Any sources?

Any Norinco cq-311's came with unmarked 5/20 rounders. That would be one source. Try wtb on the EE.

I can't say I've looked "forever" on the EE but I definitely have checked for many weeks and that's why i concluded they must be more uncommon.

They are not very common but I had a Colt one that I gave away with a 20 inch AR I sold a few months ago so they are floating around.

I got two when I bought my Remington R-15. Don't know if Remington sells the mags separately.

Hell it's almost impossible to find the 20 round mag pouches either that used to take 4 20 rd mags. , and their must be a million out there

Yes, was labeled as early 1970 production. Can't recall exactly but it was 71, 72 or 73. Gorgeous for sure.

Proline Shooting Supply has a box of used ones for sale. Around 25 bucks per. All colt made from what I saw.

I picked up 2 from Irunguns, they are great, went well with the original colt 20 rounder I got with the rifle, and recently I was able to snag another colt 20 rounder off the EE, they do exist just not in the great numbers as the 30 rounders.

Who are you, and what have you done with the real skirsons? There aren't any .22 trainers in this thread!

Also, looking at Brownells, new GI-style 20 round mags are still being made, so the real question is who in Canada you can find imports them.

I asked a local gun shop if they had any, and the guy tried to sell me a LAR-15 (pinned to 5) for $40 claiming it was a 2/20. I had a good laugh.
