Is it just me or is MFS Horribly unaccurate?

Very nice! That's actually surprisingly impressive for both the rifle and that ammo. We're those three shot groups? Or the best three of a larger group?

A Savage Axis shooting like that doesn't surprise me too much. Mine in .223 usually shoots under 1" @ 100yds, under 0.5" from time to time (all 5-shot groups). That's with handloads and either match or polymer tipped bullets though. My only issue is the pencil barrel heats up so fast.

It is very surprising to see MFS ammo do that. I have my doubts that different lots of the ammo can do that consistently; it may have just been a lot that the rifle really liked.
The only cheap ammo I've tried in mine is Tula and either 55gr or 62gr was somewhere around 4-5" @ 100yds.

Yeah i am starting to notice the inconsistency with the mfs rounds the more i shoot it. Ill go from stellar groups to groups that are 4x the size. Noticing the same when shooting it out of a marlin bolt action too. Still though, not too bad considering the price. Has anyone shot game with these?

Some calibers made by MFS are completely awesome, while others seem to be crap. You almost have to wonder if they were even made in the same factory?

Norc M14s
147gr MFS
Shot with irons off bags
100M
Groups like this were typical, I bought 500rnds after trying a box when it made it's way to the local shop... I should of bought more, it's $17 a box now and only place I found it local was at a crappytire.

205 gr soft points shot quite well in my Mosin Nagant. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for hunting. Their 7.62x39 in the SKS seemed completely unremarkable. Haven't tried it in any other calibers.
