not sure i'm putting this in the right spot. also searched, but couldn't quite find what i was looking for.

anyway...

i have a question i'm sure more then one of you could answer. is it legal to purchase and have sent, a 1911 stripped slide drom the states? just the slide, no inards ect. and $100 u.s.

if yes, will customs give me any hassle? what i mean, do i have to do anything special, go to the border, or do i just pick it up at my local post?

A licenced exporter will be needed on the US side of the line.
Importation into Canada isn't the issue; it is export from the US.
