The bullets started hitting low after I fired 30 or 40 shots, and finally the hits was 3 or 4 inches lower. Is it normal? Or something wrong with the scope?

For the last 20 shots I didn't let the barrel cool. But I weighed powder using my scale for every charge. Altogether I fired 70 rounds within hour and a half.
I have a Remington 40X with a Kreiger barrel that will start to shoot lower as the barrel heats up. Of course 20 shots plus sighters in a 30 minute time limit is fast shooting for our game.
