Is it normal?

The bullets started hitting low after I fired 30 or 40 shots, and finally the hits was 3 or 4 inches lower. Is it normal? Or something wrong with the scope?

If it got gradually lower I'd say bedding if all of a sudden I'd say scope.

I tried 25 yards using the last two rounds and the bullet hit lower of course but they were dead on a straight line downwards.

Are you letting the barrel cool?
The other thing that could be happening is your powder measure is gradually throwing smaller charges, did you weigh every fifth charge?

For the last 20 shots I didn't let the barrel cool. But I weighed powder using my scale for every charge. Altogether I fired 70 rounds within hour and a half.

I have a Remington 40X with a Kreiger barrel that will start to shoot lower as the barrel heats up. Of course 20 shots plus sighters in a 30 minute time limit is fast shooting for our game.
