Hello will be flying to Vancouver from calgary tomorrow and want to take my scope with me in my carry on have been waiting to try it (vortex viper pst). Scopes are sealed units filled with inert gas right?? Is there a danger of damaging the scope due to the pressure change when flying. I know the cabin is pressurized but jus wanna be sure. I once had an unopened back of potato chips blow on me in the mountains driving from vancouver to calgary would suck for that to happen to my scope or for the sealing to be compromised. Sorry if this is a dumb question this is my first optic. i dont have a rifle to try it on here in calgary (on order), gonna be in vancouver so thought i might try it on my cousins Norinco. Is there any legal issues??? shouldn't be i think.
