That Lower Receiver looks suspiciously like it would fit onto an AR Upper Receiver. Doesn't matter if the combination would actually function - if it is "AR Compatible", it is prohibited.

Receiver upper and lower look shorter than AR15 receiver, and magwell is definitely shorter front to back. Doesn't look compatible to me.

NO, that's an AR9, shorter mag receiver of an AR15, which will also use mag adapters in the AR15 magwell.
This also means this upper and lower is directly compatible with AR15 uppers and lower regardless of fire capability

Prohibited by May 2020 OIC that banned all AR15s

Even if this is not AR compatible, wouldn't the passing of C21 now prohibit this being a "new model" that is semi auto, centerfire, detachable mag, etc. from coming into Canada?

I would love for something like this to come into Canada. Fast takedown just like my FX9 but the online reviews seem very positive. Think Honest Outlaw had the JP5 as #1 on his PCC list.

In his top 5, we can only afford to buy Kriss Vector and Sw Fpc in Canada

I have one, its now a prohib, only enjoyed for one season. A Very nice carbine, unfortunately we are living in a dictatorship.
