Is it possible to convert this to CZ/VZ 858

Hey guys

I know there's some of you machinist out there who could do this.

I was browsing around CAA's website and came across this rail

is it possible to get this converted to fit my CZ 858?

or any ideas?

Once you cut the back half off so your CZ could actually eject the spent casings, it doesn't look that special.

Just get the new-style NEA lower and add the rails to it, along with the NEA upper.

Is it possible to machine out a bit from the rear and still keep the rail there? (or add a case deflector so the case could come out from the side instead of the top?)

But the thing is that I wanted the top rail. lol SCOPE!

I doubt, but I'm no machinist. Get one and find out.

The CZ858, ejects prettty much straight up. Unless you chopped half that rear rail off, you'd need a deflector, that would have to work before the casing had completely cleared the action. I see a lot of trial, error, frustration, ahead for anyone who dares to try, but if they could make it work, without making the ultra reliable 858, into a jam-o-matic, it'd be pretty neat.

this is my "ah crap" I want to make it happen but yeah...


Do you guys think if I install a 45 degrees deflector to the bottom of the rail cutting into the mid left section, would that be enough to deflect the casing to the side?
or is Side mount POSP the only way to mount a scope?

You can mount any scope via side to weaver adapter. Considering that the scope is short enough that shells would not hit the scope. Or the optional deflector could be used with long scope. Sorry, the adapter is shown on SKS but you will get the idea...
