is it possible to resize .270 wsm to .300 wsm

Hi guys took some .270 wsm at the field and wanted to know if it is possible to resize those into .300 wsm..

I already have the die for .300 wsm

Yes it is possible. You need an expander mandrel to go from .270 to 7mm to .308. Some reloading companies have a tapered mandrel or sizing button to do this. Lots of lube anhyrdrous lanolin works well (get it at drug store).

I made 325wsm brass from 300wsm back when the 325 first came out and availability was poor. Now that is is pretty common to find 270/300/325 wsm brass anywhere, I would question why bother reforming it......unless you're super cheeeap

I know about availability of the brass... I was only wondering If we were able to do that ... this is just to be sure to always have some aivailable.. If I have some .300 wsm brass and can do some with .270 wsm Won't run out of brass for a long time..
