I have a .22lr NEF single shot break action rifle.
Can I shoot .22 WMR from this gun?
I understand that the .22 WMR round is longer, but in a break action gun will that make a difference?
Thanks
A lot of the gun nutz think that all safety course's are a waste. In this case I think it is.

Also the bullet in a .22 WMR is .224" dia. Just like the centerfires. A .22lr or any of its shorter brothers are all .222" dia...
That i enough to seriously put the pressures in the danger zone.
nope
the .22lr can be rechambered to .22mag been there done that just for kicks .
You have your diameters wrong there is only one thou' difference in bullet dia.
I would like to do this. Some have said it cant be done. Who is right?
(I dont think I would try it, I just want to know if it can be done.)
