Chris has an excellent teaching method.
I took the Magpul Dynamic Night Fighting/Teamwork class, and have taken classes with him as a student (LAV class), he totally outshot the rest of us - he can really shoot.
The thing to note about Chris and Travis is they have a real passion for this, and it comes out in the way they teach. They aim to minimise the movements to make things the most fluid and efficient.
If you've ever seen Jerry "The Burner" Barnhardt talk/shoot/teach it is very similar. (However Jerry is truely in league of his own).
I know talking to Chris, that none of the non-AR system have faired well in classes, he has had about 12 XCR's come through classes. Part of this he agreed is the user, as they teach specifically to the AR, and there methods are optimized for it.
Also (and not to knock the XCR owners) most of the people who really shoot are using an AR platform, the hobbiests are generally the people with non AR platforms, and the lower skill/experience level really comes out in high round count classes.
