Hey guys

So I got a norinco m4 a while back and I love it buy now im thinking of selling it off and getting a 12.5 inch nea.
Only because I like the shorter barrle and the way it looks.
Do you think its worth selling the norc and getting the nea or am I just a real gun nut lol

It all depends what you want buddy!.. if you are tired of the norc.. switch it up

If you were a real gun nut you'd just have both ;)

If you love the Norc, keep it, could even look into their shorter barreled ones. I'm sure there are reviews on them around here.

Never shot either, so I won't make a comment either way. Personally I don't like the look of the Norc, but haven't heard too many complaints about their function either.

I will get egged but I say 'no, it is not worth the money'. If you are just a gun club hack like me, your Nork is plenty gun enough to play.

If you are going to compete with the cool kids and go after medals...then yeah, you will need to upgrade.

why not just buy an nea upper and pop it on your lower?
then you have 2 uppers,

This. Build a quality upper for the same price you would spend on that NEA. Saying "what type of AR should I get?" is the same as asking a total stranger what type of vehicle you should buy without having any previous knowledge for use of the vehicle. With the amount of combinations out there for AR's, purpose and operator play such a key role in the decision process no one can give you proper info without some information on the intended purpose.

i was gonna put a free float rail on my norc that would cost a lot too. prob 300 after tax
i could just sell my norc for around 700 and put all the money together for an nea! i think thats what im gonna do but not the challenge is to find one in stock.

I would be very surprised if you are able to find anybody willing to buy your nork for $700. Ther are selling for less than that NIB......

Honestly, I would suggest against modifying the Norc too much… mainly because it can be a pain to get the front sight off… although, it can, and probably has to be cut...
