I've run across IVI 40 S&W, and can't for the life of me figure out who it's made for - Mil, nope - RCMP, nope - Corrections, nope - ICE, nope. Who the hell uses this stuff?

I have 222 Rem. stamped ivi I thinkpretty well all of Imperials brass was stamped like that in the early 80's.

I know of a few security companies that use it for training. It comes in a Centurion box.

Still trying to find time to investigate this issue. These (cracks)
only are on the IVI cases. I am not a complete newb to reloading but fairly new to reloading 9mm. If I think there may be an issue with the IVI brass, I will pitch it all. Better to be safe then sorry.I will try the paper clip and cut some open tomorrow.Thanks for the help so far. I will try to post more pics.
