And They'll be a lot of back orders for civilian market.
 
LMT made about 6000 rifles in 2012, but those numbers published on the internet can be deceiving because they count the number of serial numbers issued per the ATF record. LMT does a lot of contract manufacturing and also sells a lot of components.

You can see that Aero precision and Stag arms made 70 to 80K rifles a year, but a lot of them could be serialized lowers.

If LMT is only capable of making 2000 rifles a year, it would be disqualified at the RFI stage before an invitation to submit a proposal will be made.
