I have a marlin XT 22 with pursuit 3-9x30 scope.

Can not shoot to the target at 100 yards with ammo like wildcat, america eagle or winchester black box.

Anyone meet this problem?

Thanks.

Ok. What do you mean 'Can not shoot to the target'? Is it just that you are not hitting the target?

How is your rifle sighted in? Aside from totally pooched scope there's no other reason you shouldn't be hitting at 100m. Edit: Derp, sorry yeah check rings, bases too figured that was a given.

I had one and it was bang on. Sight it in a 25yds and work your way out from there. Also make sure the scope rings are tight enough that the optic doesn't move around, without over tightening it.

There could be many possibilities as to why your not hitting paper though.

I have the same gun in .22WMR. Great little gun. Action screws need to be loctite. They come loose and accuracy goes in the toilet. Check those, and your scope.

Good rifles, but agree with locktiting the screws, and consider properly bedding the barrel.

I have 2 - a .22 and a .22 WMR - both great little guns, reliable and certainly accurate at 100m with whatever ammo I put through them. Gotta be your sights, bases, rings or scope.

It's not clear what the problem is from the description offered. Has the rifle been sighted in at a shorter range? Does the rifle group well at 25 yards? At 50?

You should refer to the Rimfire Ballistic charts in the stickies section at the top of this rimfire forum. https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/63954-Rimfire-Ballistic-charts
Shooters need to be aware that high velocity .22LR rounds that are zeroed at 50 yards will drop over 5 inches when they get to 100 yards.

Overall, I think you kave a decent little gun. Looks very nice.
Perhaps I'm missing something but I can't see it. Can you?;)
