I have yet to buy a firearm from Marstar, and looking to pick up a Norino or other pistol.

Are they a good place to order from?

Umm, when I pick a gun, I dont see where I can order it? Do you have to phone in orders?

Thanks!

A lot of us have bought from Marstar and I think pretty much everyone has been happy. I bought a few rifles from them and have been 100% satisfied - Marstar even honoured a return when many others wouldn't have ( I had screwed up ) so in my book they have earned kudos and repeat business.

I have ordered from Marstar. I called my order in over the phone, and gave payment information. After the transfer cleared, they packed my firearm nicely, and mailed it to me. No problems, and they were great to deal with IMHO.

hope this helps!

Oh ok cool.

I have a SR9, and now im looking for a cheap .45

Anyone have any suggestions on some good ones from Marstar?

I own a Norinco NP27 (I think?). its the Colt Commander length 1911. only have one box of ammo thru it so far, but everything seems good. They have nice blue on the new stuff that Ive looked at. Knowing what I know now, I might have bought a "Government" length 5" 1911, because the commander length is known to have a bit more muzzle flip. I don't find 45ACP hard to hold onto though. Its quite enjoyable if you ask me!

Occasionally you hear someone complain that communication isn't answered promptly, or at all, but given the size of the business and the volume of turnover they seem to have, I think that's just the inevitable level of human error. I wouldn't be put off, too many people say they are good to do business with and you can get problems resolved.

Marstar

Marstar is great to deal with, especially if you phone in your order. I have purchased a number of items from them in the last few years and had problems with only one item (a Ncstar red dot sight). I returned the sight two years later and received a replacement within two weeks. Service doesn't get much better than that!

THanks everyone!

Is this a decent .45 ?

I think the NP-30 is a double stack 1911 which you may run into problem of after market parts. The single stack 1911 A1 like Np-29 and their sport model to be the best and that was how Norinco become famous among us budget shooter.

Email communication has been a bit iffy with me but every time I've called, someone has answered. My Norinco M4 was shipped out the day the transfer cleared and was at my door in 3 days.

I've bought from them (couple of M14s's) and used the internet to choose what I wanted, but called in the order by phone. I prefer to talk to a live person when I order. Everything was good.

I placed an order via email, and got an order confirmation whithin an hour and Jim contacted me next day to clarify my order. all is well. This was just this week so I have not received my rifle yet
