Im thinking of either refinishing the sporter stock or finding a MK3 stock for it if possible to retore it to close to millitary finnish

Probably not(25" is right), but you measure barrels by running a cleaning rod into a closed bolt rifle, marking the rod and measuring.

Looks unaltered. The ramp is a sheet metal thing used on commercial sporters.
Given that the rifle has been drilled and tapped, it isn't the best candidate for restoring to military configuration.

Value. Wouldn't have any effect on replacing the missing/altered bits.
Personally, I wouldn't restore this rifle, unless there was something pretty special about it. There are lots of sported SMLEs around, which don't have extra holes.
Restoring a SMLE is more complicated and expensive than restoring a No. 4. More parts, which are harder to find, and more expensive.

Thanks for the info, I will avoid restoring it to military then.

Seeing as it is already drilled and tapped, scope it and set it up as a nice sporter. A sporting style buttstock makes all the difference in the world.

I think mine still have the original brass military but plate and stock, dosent look very comfey. Maybe ill clean the gun up and get a sporter stock like the monte carlo

Holes look right for the Weaver TO1 mount. I'd make sure the holes were well aligned, and their thread in good shape, before doing anything else.

mine will be this way eventually, when my eyes get bad enough to require a scope. the holes don`t bother me, and i don`t plan on selling for value. if i die at a ripe old age, and my kids divvy up the spoils, by then, it`ll be worth what an un-drilled/tapped one is worth now. but to them, they`ll just be Dads old guns.
Or, since it's d&t'd you could restore it, mount a nice looking vintage scope on it and have a guilt free scoped SMLE. I'd do it.
