Is my M4 barrel defective???

Just got my Benelli M4 3 days ago and just went to try it for the first time today, worked flawlesly but as I putted it back in its case, ive notice that the barrel end was a bit crooked. Like the cut from the factory wasent straight.

Its not big but I mean Its a 2000$ shotgun, If i would want to have a muzzle brake on it it would not sit straight.....

Hmm... that IS odd... actually I just checked mine (2008 vintage I think)... and it ALSO has a veeeery slight un-even end of the barrel. Not nearly as much as yours, but it's not 100% straight either.

I don't care... as long as the choke threads in, it's fine with me! :) I don't know what the dealer would do... full refund? Another gun? who knows...
 
I brought it from Canadian Tire of Cold Lake, I dont think that they will be of help whenever to determine if its normal or not. I've sended an email to Benelli..... It looks like there dont offer much support for canada, cant event choose a canadian address when registering the warranty on their website.....
 
Best of luck with this. It is one of those frustrating issues because on one hand you said it fires just fine but on the other it is just careless QC work and it makes the final product look sloppy and unfinished.

Brought it back to canadian Tire and the firearm guy could see the issue easy, its hard to see on pictures but much easier when taking a look at the barrel tip while spinning it by hands.... they are gonna ship it back to Stoeger Canada... The canadian tire rep told me he would have done the same if it was his... He says I was entitled to have the best of the best for the price I paid.....
 
So u r telling me this is a $2000 m4? I don think they should fill u in with any excuses other than a full refund.
