Hi, Skinny 1950. I too tried the Safari Arms search and also came up to a dead end as far as .22rf stuff goes. I've emailed RIA for info on the one they sold back in 2007. If nothing else they should have a copy of the printed auction circular they're famous for. Each gun is pictured therein. Hopefully I may find my little guy has at least ONE twin in circulation.
And, zywina, thanks for your input also. I recently bought a pile of copies of The Canadian Journal of Arm Collecting (CJAC), and am going to check if there's any Cooey info in them. If not, I'll go back to the source of those reprints and check for Cooey articles in all those I didn't purchase reprints of the first time around.
The company that offers them has an office down here as well as in Canada. Great for researching Canadian-made goodies of the gun world. It was through them that I learned the full story on the unknown Tobin Arms Boy Scout Rifle, made in Woodstock, Ontario. The guys who operate that outfit are first class helpful and interested in customer service.
