is sellier&bellot .338LM ammo any good?

It would be about 3.50 each from frontier, ship+tax included, but I can reload and I have lapua brass I just need dies, powder, and bullets so i think I might just do that instead I'm just not sure where I'm going to find any 300gr match kings. Does anyone know another good 300gr bullet to try that is available?

I want to get some us869 and the 300gr match kings to try first, I just don't want to go on a wild goose chase to find it all, but I think the only thing that would be hard to find is the bullets.

The S&B ammo isn't bad. Know of at least one guy that says it's just as good as any of his hand loads at his 600m max range shooting. And the brass seems pretty good.
I have a bunch of it, but haven't had the time to go and shoot it yet, need a new scope still.

300 grain Berger hybrid is what you are looking for.

I have these, but just looking for what powder to use.

Perhaps you not heard of Lapua .338 300 grain bullets, such as used in their ammo. Readily available in Canada.

I hardly see any loads for this. And generally see the Berger hybrids as being the go to bullet.

There's plenty more as these are very popular and also there is US powder data readily available.

My rifle (Remington 700 MLR) is a bit picky with the S&B .338LM.

For the most part it works fairly well, averages ~1- 1.5MOA, but temperature seems to affect the cartridge a good deal, generally very warm or very cool, and the ammo will start to hit around 2- 2.5 MOA, when at the same time reloads will keep ~1MOA or better.

I ordered 100 of the S&B rounds, according to several US retailers, they say they are loaded with 250gr sierra match kings. I'm sure they'll be fine for my skill level and breaking in my new gun then I can reload them all with 300gr.

I am gearing up to do some loads with 300gr Sierra Matchkings and H1000. I had great luck with Hornady Match 250gr with H-1000, but they are hard to find at the moment, and I have about 500 of the Sierras handy at the moment, so I will play with those for now.
