Is selling used brass worth the effort?

Hi, I have a question for those of you used to selling stuff.

I have about four five-gallon pails full of assorted once-fired brass. Everything from .22 Hornet to .300 Ultra-Mag. It`s from my rifle adjustment clinics at the local gun club. I usually sell it for scrap metal but would it be worth the effort to sort them, pack them and sell it on this exchange forum? Is there a market for this or would I be wasting my time? And how do you set a fair price for such a product.

Your input will be much appreciated.

Put it up on the EE board, you never know there are people asking for brass in various calibres.

If it's not taking up too much space keep it around and see if someone wants it before you sell for scrap.

Depends on the caliber.

Something like 223 or 308, probably worth more as scrap. I don't know how much 308 I've picked up at the range for myself but it seems that no one bothers reloading it.

But 22 hornet, a caliber that is practically a nessesity to reload is probably worth a bit.

9mm and .22 & 7.62x25 seems to be the main brass left behind, followed by .40cal and .45acp winclean, although I did pickup up 50x357Sig recently.
