Please clarify is SIRT trainer prohibited now? I see Lockhart Tactical have them in stock but some other stores mark SIRT as prohibited and could sell it to military and law enforcement only. So confusing...

I don't believe they're prohibited by name - Customs used to mess around with SIRTs, they were OK one week and prohib the next, but not under law as far as I know. Probably stretching the definition of 'replica firearm' to fit their politics.

Do yourself a favour and get the Mantis X Laser Academy. You can use any Pistol, PCC or Rifle chambered in 9mm, .40 S&W, .45ACP, .357, .38 and 5.56mm.

Ok, thx. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss this and it is still Ok to buy and sell them in Canada.

I use regular MantisX with Coolfire Trainer for recoil simulation ... will be adding laser to the setup. Its not a day at the range but the closest I can do in the basement!

Don't waste your time with a SIRT, they are garbage. I was an early adopter and very quickly realized how bad they were, sh!tty qc, nothing like a real trigger, and on and on. Get a Coolfire, add a laser if you want that (get the Rapid Fill adapter if your holster will accept it), and train with your actual pistol in the comfort of your own home.

I just googled that set up. Pretty neat.
