I don't think so. Internal magazine with overhead loading of stripper clips. I don't think that meets the "assault rifle" criteria that a soccer mom wrote.

Gents; as much as we all love the SKS, it's simply not a modern-design assault rifle, it's a military surplus carbine with a fixed box magazine. Compared to an AR or other modern-design assault rifles, it is unwieldy, heavy and cumbersome. The ban of 1500 targeted the low hanging fruit.

Yes, committing a mass shooting with an SKS would be a great way to get dead fast and hit nothing. I heard Blair say last night that they were focused on rifles designed after WW2. He did also have alot other frightening things to say though. There is alot more to come

it did not save us - you would need your status card in order to keep your SKS - wait for this it will be happening - they can not justify all these owners living in big cities owning one for that purpose only

Gazette doesn't say anything about prohibiting grenade launcher devices.. It says this:

95 Any firearm with a bore diameter of 20 mm or
greater — other than one designed exclusively for the purpose
of neutralizing explosive devices

Yugo launcher is a removable muzzle device and is not part of the 'bore'. And even if we consider it part of it, it's internal diameter is less than 20mm. It measures 22mm on the outside..
