The extractor has red Locktite from the factory so no need for that but I put Blue Locktite on the barrel bolt and tightened @ 70 deg but you really do not require the Locktite.

I realize some of the early ones had the lockite issue but has anyone had this problem recently? I bought an XCR 3 months ago and a buddy got one 8 months ago. Neither of us have had any fasteners come loss that everyone keeps talking about and we both shoot weekly.
I can't support a company with an owner that treats customers so poorly and provides the worst service in the business. So bad in fact I dumped all my RA products. I work to hard for my money to know that I'm supporting a company like that. Just my experience and it was more then once.
Got mine two weeks ago. Had it out 4 or 5 times since then.
Must be the awesome power of Czech surplus that's shaking it apart.

That would really kill the current NR black rifle market in Canada. I can't see too many $2000-$3000 XCRs, ACRs, Tavors, SL8s, etc...selling if that were to come to pass.
FWIW, an XCR would be at or near the top of my list for a NR black rifle if I felt I needed one...but since most of my shooting is at a range, I opted for a Noveske AR instead, at pretty much the identical cost.

I am not selling mine. I had the trigger lightened on mine and it shoots very nice. I like the ability to use 10 round AR mags on it too. I originally bought mine in 7.62 but bought the .223 conversion. I would love the 6.8 conversion also as it would make good for caribou hunting, but it is so expensive. I can get a whole new gun for that. I do wish I could have a slightly shorter barrel; maybe 16” would make a difference. If we could get rid of ATTs now, then I could do that without limiting it to the range. I really hate the restricted rules in Canada.
I have the opposite experience, fantastic customer service two or three times!
They answered all my emails and helped me one time over the phone with some troubleshooting for a small problem. Also Wolverine the Canadian distibutor is just as good or better, they will resolve any issues direct here in Canada so there is no need to go direct to RA anyway..

I have a few hundred rounds through mine with no malfunctions of any kind and runs nicely on the first gas setting. Just waiting for my new stock from Wolverine.
